We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Newsletter of the CoalHeritage RFCS Project is now available. Heritage and culture are the oldest forms of tourism and usually involve features designed to represent and commemorate a valued cultural past. This Newsletter is dedicated on presenting examples of good practices for industrial heritage by project partners in their respective countries (Greece, Poland, Slovenia, Germany and Slovenia). One of the important step for the recognition of a region as a cultural landscape and its transformation into a tourist attraction is the conversion of the remains of industrial culture into cultural sites i.e. museums and underground touristic routes.
