🌍✨ Historic Mine Guido Guides Visit the Barbara Experimental Mine! ⛏️💡
📅 November 8, 2024 – The Central Mining Institute-National Research Institute welcomed a group of guides from the Historic Guido Mine to the Barbara Experimental Mine in Poland, a key partner in the #CoalHeritage project. 🤝
🏛️ The Historic Guido Mine, one of Europe’s oldest and deepest coal mines (1855–1996), now serves as a museum and educational center, showcasing coal mining’s rich history, technology, and culture at various underground levels. Since 2013, it has operated as part of the Museum of Coal Mining in Zabrze and is Poland’s most iconic mining heritage site! 🖤⛏️ #GuidoMine
During the visit, the guides:
